Dean called us for an estimate for a full tune up. We gave him an estimate over the phone for just that. Dean took the vehicle to another shop and paid less then our estimate to have his idle adjusted. Dean told us this is why he gave us a one star review. This is one of the reasons we do not like giving estimates over the phone without being able to inspect the vehicle for what it really needs and being able to explain that to the customer. 38 reviews spreading from California through Southern Colorado, all at exactly the same time????

Stang Auto Tech is always helpful, does their best and takes very good care of myself and my truck. When they didn't have a driver that could drive me back to my house while they were working on my car they covered a driver from Lyft so I could get back to my business in a timely manner. I was impressed.

So appreciate how Stang Auto Tech personnel patiently assist with sorting out priorities on the vehicle and handle them accordingly. They also keep accurate records and give reminders to be sure maintenance schedule isn't neglected. Positives could continue on and on.

The cost was low, everyone was super friendly, and my car was back to me in no time! All the issues I came in for were resolved and my car drives so well!

As usual, Stang came through again with excellent service and the safety of my son first and foremost. We took his '96 Ford Bronco in for an oil change and tire rotation and to have them look at the brakes as we knew they were getting worn and needed replaced. Once they had the vehicle apart for the brake inspection, they noticed that not only were the brakes worn, but they were actually installed incorrectly the last time they were installed and the rear drums basically fell apart when they went to check them. Once I okayed the brake fix, the also noticed that the front locking hubs for the four wheel drive were also worn to the point that they could fail at any given moment (the joys of a 20+ year old vehicle), so they called and gave me the update and I told them to fix those as well. They were trying to get the vehicle done before my son went back to college, but due to all of the work that had to be done, they couldn't quite get it completed as it was more than initially expected. I'm totally fine with that as long as the communication is handled as it was and there is sound reasoning behind the delay. At the end of everything, I actually got a bill that was less than expected for the amount of work completed and the vehicle drives like a champ.
