I received a quote from another local auto shop to replace the thermostat in my GL450, quoting $250 for the part. After finding the same part online for $80 (or $100 at an O’Reilly’s), I ordered my own part and started calling around to find a shop who would install it. Most shops gave me the bogus “won’t do it because of warranty, liability, blah blah blah” but Stang said no problem and took care of me right away. I’ve been taking my vehicles to them ever since, and continue to be impressed by their work, friendliness, and honesty. I moved to the area 2 years ago, and I’m glad to have found a shop that will take of me.

They did a great job. They were upfront with all the charges and explained everything they did - in writing no less. They went above and beyond - including taking a test drive with me so I could better show them the problem I was having. I'm very pleased and will go to them the next time my car needs some TLC.

I never write reviews. This is literally my first. I went in for the 4th or 5th time today for an oil change using the mail market promo coupon ($35 for an oil change and tire rotation what a deal). I walk in and am greeted by friendly faces and welcoming conversation. He starts to tell me all that they did and it blew me away. Oil change, tire rotation, anti corrosive on the battery caps, visual inspection, ... and the list kept going. I have never met such a friendly, price competitive, and knowledgeable mechanic until I started going to Stang Auto Tech. I highly suggest you make them your family mechanic. Thanks again, Stang!

Great service. Called in the morning for an oil and filter change and was all taken care of by the afternoon. Friendly efficient staff.

Very helpful

This was my first time at Stang and although I only had an oil change the staff was courteous and prompt with the work done. I also appreciate that they rinse off the car which was a nice surprise!
